Battered and Bruised

one move

causes me pain

everything hurts

burns, bruises

aches, scratches

cuts, scars

i am always in pain

with everything i do

constantly running into things

falling over things

hurting myself every way possible

never wanting to do anything

in fear of getting battered and bruised

never getting a chance to heal

never getting a chance to feel better

unable to leave the pain and suffering behind
