Bullies remember this thing

to the self karma you bring

and if you really dig the skit

the bully hunter, don't bait it

cushy life to enjoy

all the minions to employ

eventually truth catches up

in a grand display minus backup

lower the voice do you say?

Why? Only bullies fear honest display

how true how true..bullies are dishonest with themselves first ..and very much afraid of standing in the light of truth .. such a sad thing that this is such an ongoing destructive occurrence ...nurtured by on line assumed anonymity ...it all comes home to roost .. no doubt about it! thanks for sharing your poetry Karen .. this is an issue that continues to be an important one ...most recently i watch a program about the trial of the girl that for hours talked a young man into killing himself ..and when he was dead in his truck ..she listened on the phone for 20 minutes ... seemingly to be sure he did it ... oh the story is so horrid ..you probably know the one i am referring to ... so important to bring into the light of truth .. :(

Thank you for the review E. The forms of bullying (especially online) are outstanding. I recently had to deal with a neighbour who takes advantage of everyone on the street, if she can get away with it. I decided nope, not with me so I called her to the mat on it. One of the things she said to me was "keep your voice down". I later figured out there were others out on the street and she was embarrassed regarding the truth of what she does to others. So this was definitely an inspired write. I am not familiar with the case you mentioned, although I have heard of other situations in which similar events have transpired. Knowing people who suffer with depression, something I too deal with at times, it is very worrying to think there are people like that online. I agree, the best we can do is bring it to light whenever possible. Thanks again for commenting.

you be careful young lady! one never knows what evil lurks ..and tho bullys are by nature cowards ..it sometimes leads them to take advantage in some weapon or another ..and rage can be such a dangerous trigger :O

Thank you for both the concern and calling me a "young lady" lol. They are a couple with a son, and the woman is on the condo board. I am somewhat sure, they take advantage when they can and will only back off when told off. But, I sincerely appreciate that concern, my friend!

Fortunately my experience with a bully was short lived. I was young and small and hated the idea of fighting. One day I got pushed too far and beat the crap out of the guy. WOW!! what a change! It is a shame that so many of the bullies lie behind the anonymity found on the internet. How these creatures can find amusement in hurting other people is beyond my understanding. There should be a way to track them down and prosecute them.

You became karma! Yep, we just don't seem to understand how damaging bullying is to the individual and for that matter society as some grow up and are broken for life. I believe there have been a few cases of bullying that led to prosecution, but only in extreme cases. Hope the internet gets really smart and picks it up instantly putting the bully on time out for longer and longer stretches of time. Just a dreamer here. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!
