Spring Morning Haiku

Spring Morning Haiku

A Poem by dragonflyrider
"

A collection of Spring Haiku

"

In the dawn sunlight

a Redbellied Woodpecker's

laugh broke the sillence

He swooped down as

As a thin light shaft crossed

a beech tree trunk

A Mournnig Cloak flew

with black scalloped wings

alongside a creek

A twinleaf's petals

woke to the sunbeams and

suddenly opened

A Fox Sparrow

Scratched at the leaves

by the wooded trail

A Red -Tailed Hawk

Circled above the trees and

screeched loudly

A Tufted Titmouse's

monotone whistle began

to follow me
