Yellow Daisies

Yellow Daisies

A Poem by dragonflyrider
"

A poem about Daisies and life.

"

Golden sunrays vibrate in a crystal clear vase

Baby's breath cascade down in white sprays

Lacy ferns fronds flow in graceful waves

A captive rainbow arches across the table

The daisies long to break away from it's cage

They whould never again feel the breeze,

or the butterfly's wing beat

Weeks later the flowers died and are tossed outside

Like so many other lonely lives
