Humming Bird Tale

Humming Bird Tale

A Poem by dragonflyrider
"

A Humming bird poem based on mythology

"

   Two lovers walked

    Along the seashore together

    For the last time ever

    As a spell was cast

    He became a humming bird

    and she a flower

                                   His rainbow wings

                                   Sing so secretly above her

                                   in a feather dream

                                   They kiss silently

                                   Each time he sips nectar

                                   Flower buds bloom

                                   He longs everyday

To dance just one more with

                                   her along the shore
