The InspirationA Poem by KarelA reflective poem interspersed with some old memories from Thailand
The Inspiration
(the more I look for you, the more you elude me) it's in the lush mango groves after the first monsoon rains, deep in the moist fern of the river valleys down and the sweet scented, hot breath of the rice field as the day folds itself into the night the spindrifts swirl in the golden hallo around the mountain peaks all there I feel you yielding to the hungry touches of my pen; reading eagerly from the abandon in your glazed eyes, listening intently to every whisper in between your sighs, your thighs fecund with meanings now I let myself be carried © 2015 Karel |
