WanderingA Poem by Ola
Late at night wanderings.
Lead me to some ponderings. Why does the snow sparkle in the light? Why do crickets come out on busy city nights? Why can one feel so sad and broken apart? Like an forgotten piece of colored art. You look at me like I've got no smooth edges. Or it's time for you to clear cut the hedges? I don't know why magic of love seems to fade. Like a mirage in humid desert haze I do know I'll remember our walks through twinkling white. And the orchestral sound of insects at night. You made my heart a puddle of goo. Now it's shattered into two. Raw emotions bubble up. Like water spilling from a cup. I'll be fine everything's superb Another lie from one in the herd. Group of lonely hearted fools. Who hoped their love was an exception to the rule. © 2018 Ola |
