Scenic beautyA Poem by OlaMy experience on a hike through muddy woods
Leave whisper across rocky roads
And streams gurglee their language untold I walk heel toe the mud stains deep On my pants, shoes, hands and feet Slipping over rocks and branches Hasn't quite tripped me up yet Scenic beauty that may be true But I'm over it between me and you Plop plop plop stomp stomp stomp I ache and yern for my cot Feathery pillows on satin sheets That's the true nature I want to greet A few more miles down the path Before I head home to bath © 2018 Ola |
