A Chance of Hope

A Chance of Hope

A Poem by Luna Northstar
"

Something I wrote a long time ago...

"
A beautiful melody...
A warm hug...
A dazziling sunsut...
A sunshiny rain.

Uplifting your soul,
To a better feel,

Carassing your heart,
With a loving seal.

In those moments,
When you start to fly,

Through honey glazed smiles,
And bright eyes,

You reach the top,
With a smile,

Of warm happy feelings,
That stay for a while

Yet as the song turns melancholy,
And as the hug ends,
When the sunset turns to blackness
When the storms turns to gray

All those happy feelings,
Start to go away

Down you drop,
To the thrashing seas,

Of depression and sorrow,
Temperatures freeze

Your crashed onto the sand,
And left all alone

Where are those happy feelings,
And the place that you called home?

The feeling of a warm sun
The uplifting of a smile
The contangoiunous of a laugh
The hope of tommorow

The are the feelings that fill you with hope
The feelings that make you fly

Yet, darkness always sneaks in
To give you feelings that make you cry

It the feeling when the sun burns
And the pain of a tear
The contangoiniss of a cry
The darkness of today

And as you crash down to eath
With no hope in your soul

Is seems like your stranded forever
In this deep, black hole.

The pain floods through your body
Sadness taking it's tole

But now it all depends on how you escape
From this deep, black hole

So grab onto the chance
Of reciveing some hope

Even know that you are
Holding onto thin rope

Or stay there in your blackness
Of depression and sorrow

Then miss the happiness
That could come tommorow.
