Stop PretendingA Poem by KarMarBarA poem that reads like a love poem, but I actually wrote it to my mother
Stop pretending that you love me
when you know you don't even care. Stop pretending that you need me when I know you were never there. Don't ask me to console you or to be there by your side. Don't ask me any favors, for you know that you have lied. Don't tell me that you want me, unless you know you mean it. After all, I may fall for it, though I've learned never to believe it. I know I can never trust you, because of every promise you've been bending. If you ever want my precious love back, all you have to do is stop pretending. © 2015 KarMarBarReviews
