Bright Red, Pale White

Bright Red, Pale White

A Poem by KaoticOrder

[[Trigger Warning: Contains subjects of Self-Harm]]
Bright red on pale white
tears rise at the sight
of pain hidden so long in the night
appearing as cuts in the light

What am I supposed to say?
and what role could I play?
It isn't really my place anyway
because you saw me do the same thing back in the day

I wish you turned to me
I wish you'd let me in
I don't know whats worse, hidden pain in your eyes
or open pain carved on your skin
