My nest

My nest

A Poem by Lupus Kaos
"

from my self

"
"I will stay here, I'll roost
in this corner, just do not
take me out in the cold.
Please.
I will be quiet, I will not cry.
I will remain calm,
I am afraid, please let me stay
a little close to you,
do not be angry at me.

I will not speak, I will not
even breathe, for as long as I can,
I will be quiet, I will not cry.
I am afraid for out there
I am alone, chained by my loneliness
my heart beats fast, my teeth
I grasp, my eyes I have to close
and think of how you are,
over there, warm and peaceful.
Do not leave me here,
please.
I will roost in this corner
and I will be ok, I will not
cry...Just let me be with you"

Said my self to me.

Oh so needy but honest. Haven't we all felt this way? You wrote that your self said that to you. What are your different selves?

Sadness I like to embrace in each of her forms. I feel alone and Solitude is my only friend...But I have no complain about that, since I can write and express myself. more..
