An ode to love

May you be blessed oh Love.
May the rays of the sun
always keep you warm.
May you forever be close
to us who so dearly hold you.
May you, oh excellent one
be at all times within our existence.

Love spoke, telling us to love
and the roses grew
and our hoe came true.
Love spoke, saying "My children
do not be afraid
keep on fighting and trust"
Love, oh wonderful one,
Love with your superior strength
keep us from falling apart,
we beg you.

Love, you are eternal, thus I
address you this ode
to show you my respect
to express you my appreciation.
