The Slave

The Slave

A Poem by Lupus Kaos

This is what I live for
to be freed before
I die by my chains
living in a cage.

From my birth I've been
tied, the only thing I've seen
is rage, hate and pressure
from our lord whom we rescued.

My only wish is to be freed
and never again be kept in
a place where I cannot breathe.

My soul built its fortress.

Now I'm secured for
I might be kept and
my body held in shackles
but I know, I've got a free soul!

aren't we a slave of our own critical judgement or our own fears like the past that haunts us... we are constantly battle our inner demons, and our free will will take our soul into freedoms path... great write, i love the imagery.

Sadness I like to embrace in each of her forms. I feel alone and Solitude is my only friend...But I have no complain about that, since I can write and express myself. more..
