Peacefully Leaving

Feeling sad and empty means a lot to me, but I want it not to hurt those close to me

It was at the point
where I was torn in many
little dirty pieces
and thrown away in emptiness.

In that very place,
everything had changed,
but what scared me the most
was your semblance.

The sorrowful view
of your crying eyes
made me feel a lesser human.

I hope one day
to give back to you
the same smile as when you were happy
