One Wish in the Stars

One Wish in the Stars

A Poem by Kao Ruji ^^
"

two lovers, separated for many months due mission of some sort. a star lit sky, unites them with one wish. that's all it took.

"

So quiet & peaceful

As the coldness of the stars,

Are surrounded by their warmth

Completely in star dust.

Just a simple wish on the North Star

The brightest star of them all.

My fingers are so cold down to the bone,

Breathing out as I could see my own breath.

Staring at the thousands of stars,

So ever brightly in the big night sky.

I hardly could notice I am cold,

Nothing comes to mind,

Only how peaceful & beautiful the stars are.

No stress,

No worries,

No nothing.

I could not help but to stop & stare,

As I looked across from where you were standing.

Surprised, shocked, happy .

You simply smiled,

I cried, we both cried.

We ran & embraced each other so tightly,

Never letting go.

Blue lips, small grins,

As we laughed on how hilarious,

It was to see our blue lips.

An innocent kiss, that all it took.

We shared a bond that nobody can replace.

So connected,

We smiled.

As we express our feelings.

One phrase to describe how we felt.

“I missed you, Love.”

Crying in happiness,

So silly how we looked to other people.

However, we don’t care.

We’ve been apart for many months.

We love each other,

As the world spins.

We shared a blissful kiss.

Without words, without speaking,

Just gazing our eyes to one another.

We know in our hearts,

However, we won’t say it.

“I Love You.”
