IMAGINE A WORLD
Imagine the world without poetry
As a tool to express deep human emotions,
Imagine the globe with no history
Which immortalises all of man's actions,
Imagine the Earth void of drama
To reflect life's joy and trauma.

Imagine the whole cosmos with no music
To sing the tune of humanity's plight,
Imagine the universe void of logic
To guide our crooked path towards the light,
Imagine the sons of Adam without sculpture
To crystalise the legacies we dare not rupture.

The meaning of existence lies in art
Which represents its facets,
It is the only way to God's own heart
Which constitutes our mind-sets,
It is a trap that captures beauty,
And frees it with grand artful duty.

Show me an art-less world
That floats on the boat of existence
Show me a wordless word
That awaits eager tongues of resistance
Imagine humanity without art's crucial role
And you've imagined humanity without a soul.

I think I would stick with Imagine rather than Show me. since here "show me" should be followed by 'and I'll show you'.

That floats on the boat of existence " - interesting metaphor: a boat floats but you have a world floating on a boat of existence. Bit of a mind bender. What does the boat float on?
