If I Were A God

If I were a god,
for just one day,
what would I do?

Would I save lives
or kill my foes
would I make or mar?

Would I heal wounds
physical and emotional
or worsen their plights?

Would I enchant all girls
or even everyone
would I actually do good?

Would I feed the hungry
or fill up my bank accounts?

We all want power
but do we really know it,
how it darkens the purest of hearts?

If I were a god,
I know what I want to do
but know not what I will do

But I'm just a mere mortal
that's all I ever will be
Only The One knows all

If YOU were a god,
for just one day,
