A Red Rose (Poem)

I sing my soul's love for you, and only you.

I am a red rose

That blooms for you

I unfurl my petals

At the rising dawn and evening setting sun

When the sky is aglow and a flow

With magnificent colors

Alive with crimson, gold

Fuchsia pink, lapis lazuli

I, a solitary red rose,

Unfurl my petals for you

I bloom and thrive for you

My heavenly fragrance floats

On the air, lighter than mist

To bring a smile

To you sunkissed lips

In the faintly heard music

Of the ancient wind among

Secretly whispered secrets

I dance lighter than a fairy

Better than a nymph

And sing my soul's love

For you and only you
