Killed With Kindess

Killed With Kindess

A Poem by Estelle
"

You broke me down In the sweetest way possible

"

You killed me with kind words

And soft, gentle touches

You broke me down

In the sweetest way possible

Your kisses made me bleed

I placed my heart in your hands

And, so gently you squeezed it to death

And even now, as my soul twists

Into beautiful, horrid agony

And I can't seem to

Stop these salty tears

I want you to

Come back

Because you broke me

In the gentlest way possible

With words veiled with

Hideous beauty and

Sweet addictive poison

And I crave that

Sick, twisted love of ours

That kept me alive

Yet killed me softly

Oh, so softly

Beautifully expressed the feeling of being shattered by a loved one and expertly penned down the emotions being trampled.. a correction in the 18th line the word poison is misspelled..
