That Human Touch.

Everyone of us craves for that human touch and we do receive it also. But what about someone who has for a long time not felt that human touch.

                                       THAT HUMAN TOUCH!

I SIT ALONE ON A DARK WINTER'S NIGHT NOTHING IS TO

 BE HEARD EXCEPT MY BREATHING ALONE, I WAIT FOR

A MIRACLE TO TAKE PLACE MAYBE A LIGHT DOWN THIS

TUNNEL, WHERE I AM TRAPPED SINCE ETERNITY 

"I CANNOT SEEM TO CRY ANY LONGER AS MY TEAR 

DUCTS HAVE DRIED UP, MY HEAD IS NUMB, I AM 

SWEATING AND STICKY. NOTHING SEEMS TO BE 

RIGHT NO HOPE, NO LIGHT OF HOPE TO MAKE

ME FEEL ALIVE AGAIN. "THEN WHY ON EARTH ! 

I CRAVE FOR THAT HUMAN TOUCH", SOME 

SWEET WORDS THAT WHISPER IN MY EAR, STRONG

ARMS THAT ENCIRCLE ME, SOMEONE TO ASK ME?

SOMEONE WHO FIGHTS BACK, I AM TIRED OF 

BEING ALONE NOW PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME?"

AM I GOING INSANE? OR THIS IS BUT NORMAL

WHY AM I CRAVING FOR THAT HUMAN TOUCH.

"I WANT TO FEEL, A MAN'S BREATH ON MY NECK,

MY LIMP BODY RESTING AGAINST HIS LEAN CHEST

I WANT TO HOLD HANDS, NOT NECESSARILY SAYING

SOMETHING, JUST WANT THAT HUMAN TOUCH."

"I DO NOT REMEMBER FOR HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN

TRAPPED FOR?  IT MUST HAVE BEEN YEARS NOW."

THERE WAS A TIME WHEN I NEVER CARED

HOW MUCH I AM CRAVING FOR THAT HUMAN TOUCH.

"THERE IS NO MIRROR, NOTHING TO SEE MY REFLECTION

IN, I MUST HAVE CROSSED 40 BY NOW, NO ! MAYBE IT

WAS 30? I DO NOT REMEMBER.  I AM IN RAGS AND I 

SMELL BAD BUT OH GOD ! I CRAVE FOR THAT HUMAN

TOUCH." THAT HUSKINESS OF A MAN'S VOICE MIGHT

EASE THE PAIN IN ME, NOW I DO NOT HAVE THE DESIRE 

TO BE FREED ANY LONGER JUST GIVE ME THAT HUMAN

TOUCH. "I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO A SOUL JUST SELF

TALK TO PUT MYSELF TO SLEEP IF ONLY I HAD A KNIFE,

A REVOLVER, OR EVEN A PAPER KNIFE I WOULD DIE 

EASILY THIS IS RIDICULOUS! HOW CAN I LIVE LIKE

THIS WITHOUT THAT SOFT, TENDER, YET WARM

  AND PULSATING, EXCITING HUMAN TOUCH. "

A poem I relate to and feel the some way...except ofc diff genders we are....
and in this life everyone yearns for true love... that someone to talk to and sharing a little of that human touch...
