Love is?

Love can be defined in million ways.

                                  

       

Love is too give whole heartedly, love is a

selfless emotion, with a depth of a thousand seas

Love is precious to find even more difficult

 

to retain, love is if once lost, can never be found
Again,

 

Love is which you cannot buy, love is not

 

for sale either, love is a feeling which is hard too
define.

 

You can earn someone’s trust but love can

 

 

never be earned, it is a seed which is inborn in all
of us by God and watered by man only,

 

Love is priceless like gold when you receive
someone’s love you are the richest person in
this world.

 

Love is as pure as ones reflection in water but
a game of risk some have it some don’t …

Love is what makes the world go round yes love

is the strongest emotion an individual possess
to keep and cherish.

Love is made to be spread with no cost
if spent abundantly, love is a promise

 

to be fulfilled…

Love is all there is...don't agree that if lost can never be found..but you have expressed the beauty of a feeling many take for granted and few fully understand..it is banded about like the word 'thank you' with little thought of it's meaning..loved your expression. glad you wrote it..well penned

(Stands and applauds) I think you must be close to the gates of heaven. I would tell you how much I agree with this but you can just read my poem, Love Rules the Universe to see that I do. I particularly like that you note, "Love can be defined in million ways"...because that is a great irony. Love is simple and innocent. But humans are complex and filled with maliciousness. I like that the apostle Paul, when describing love to the Corinthians in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 did not give an exact description of what love IS so much as a broad description of what love IS NOT. Love is not puffed up with self-importance, love is not given to wrath, love does not lie...etc. And the WORD is so overused that one would think its original meaning might be lost altogether. People love pizza or love their new car... this was a terriffic piece!
