Walking with God

This is my favourite poem bec its my inner voice.

            Walking with God

 

Last night I dreamt I walking with God side by side on the sea shore with only the waves

 

to break the silence between us, when suddenly I looked up at God, and felt my cheeks

 

wet with tears, God very gently asked “ what is the matter my child?”

I asked with a trembling voice “why did you make me disabled?”

He smiled and showed me a girl with no arms and legs. I kept quiet but another question

 

arose in my mind “why did you make me suffer so much in my life.”

He pointed towards a weak boy fighting with a boy twice his size and winning the fight. I

 

kept quiet again, and then I asked “why did you deprive me from love?” 

God showed me a group people who were miserable then me. After thinking for a while I

 

asked God “why my life was so hard to live?”  He smiled again and I saw boy being

 

pricked by a rose while trying to pluck it.

Finally being defeated by my own questions I asked God “You never loved me did you?”  

 

He laughed this time and I saw a woman running worriedly on the sea shore looking for

 

Her fifth child while the four were busy building a castle on the sea shore.

 

Author's Note

I am handicapped myself so i walked with God in my thoughts.

this work is soo powerful. Life is hard, and God dosn't allways give staite-foward answer. I am also close to God, and I know what it's like to ask him questions and have supriseing answers. I really liked this work.
