What Shall We Do When Winter Comes?

What Shall We Do When Winter Comes?

A Poem by lyn Sewell-Lawrence

Poem

"
Delay not the mystical velvet path
Full of secrecy and anguish
Promises and troubled sleep
But walk proud with steady eyes
For happy memories stand the test of time
When she loved him, childlike and greedy
Full of wonder and unending delights
Bow not to the brief wordless spans
Nor the questions left unanswered
But console your heart in a thousand ways
And know the realities of the cold
Cannot dim each secret golden hour we have known
