Full of secrecy and anguish Promises and troubled sleep But walk proud with steady eyes For happy memories stand the test of time When she loved him, childlike and greedy Full of wonder and unending delights Bow not to the brief wordless spans Nor the questions left unanswered But console your heart in a thousand ways And know the realities of the cold Cannot dim each secret golden hour we have known
