Highschool Reality...

Highschool Reality...

A Poem by Kandii
"

The truth about my highschool

"

He likes her,
she like him,
he's in love with another,
the games begin.
Highschools one big trend,
everyone's bi, no one goes to class,
they are all out getting high.
Life in the fast lane,
never slowing down.
Having sex and doing drugs,
never coming down.
Teachers trying to conform,
rebellion is a fad,
no one ever listens,
half of us never met our dads,
Ignorance is bliss,
beauty is pain,
b***h is a disease,
and everyone is to blame.
Spikes and chains,
calculators, dictionaries
ciggerets and condoms.
Alcohal in water bottles,
pot in bra's
security gaurds buyin and sellin through the halls.
High schools a joke,
highschools a game.
everyone cheats,
and no one feels ashamed
guys kissing guys,
writing in stalls,
girls have sex,
in abandoned halls,
Teachers don't care,
just give out grades.
This genertation disgusts them,
but their the ones to blame,
know one taught you,
right from wrong,
just how to survive.
Don't rep the set,
if you want to keep your life.
Gangs walk in groups,
tagging their signs.
Fighting in classrooms
never know when someone might die.
Witch craft practiced in quiet,
no one dares to disturb,
unless they want a hex on them
some even no how to curse,
The age of Ipods and cell phones
weapons and hoops,
metal detectors and heavy metal
Liberty spikes and recurrting troops,
Welcome to John Marshall High School.
Enjoy your stay,
where learning is for quitters,
and the nightmares come out and play
