Mirror Image

A Poem by Onyx Sky
"

Valentines Day

"

Summer Nights

Clammy hands… I am nervous to hold your hand

I expose the lines on my palm to you, and you do the same

You trust me too

Fireflies light up at twilight

Sweet Kisses… wet, warm, we gently kiss

Laying on the moist grass next to you

Strands of hair, you gently pull

I turn to you, kiss your fingertips

Your eyes are my eyes tonight

My hand is your hand

My heart beats in synchronization with yours

Are thoughts are a mirror image tonight

And I am locked in it’s vanity

In love with my reflection, because it reflects you

In love with my mirror

My mirror, you.
