If I could have one wish

 

 

I wish I could get inside your head

And learn about how you think

Then I wouldn't make you so angry

And I wouldn't feel like I have to peek

Behind a curtain into your thoughts

Because you would readily share them with me

And I would be happy

Knowing you could trust me with such precious ideas

Trust me because I believe in them

And I cherish everything you think, say, feel

Because you are a part of me

As I am of you

This an old poem. I like it all the way up into thoughts... I really want to re-work it... but I'm afraid I can't fix it yet....

i think you mean 'you' not 'yo' for your last word. also, in the seventh line, 'happy' has kinda been used up. it doesn't convey much emotion anymore, so a synonym might be better for the poem. other than that, great write. i know this feeling, of a loved one hiding themselves. it's not fun.
