Silverbird

Silverbird

A Poem by Kanchan Ojha "Eureka"
"

I was carried by a thought and result was this write

"
I was happy,
You were there
I smiled,
You smiled with me

I cried,
You wiped my tears
I played,
You were the best at games

I talked,
You were garrulous
I quietened,
You replied the silence

I questioned,
You were always my answer
I was furious,
You were the soother

I dared,
You held me strong
You gave me the wings,
I fled as "Silverbird"

Nice use of brevitas in this piece: straight to the point. However, its conciseness may cripple its power in some moments (ex. in the third and fourth lines of the second stanza). And I wish I was as enthusiastic about the term "Silverbird" as you were.
