Chilly Night

a poem written after consuming a hot curry which got me going- and thereby us.

Douse me please!

soup too piquant, 

curry spicy. 

red pinches too many. 

Guilty am I,

My tarty side,

I knew not existed.

 

It’s hot, said he. 

watched his lips aflame,,

As salty tears he shed,

Unrestrained, 

Seductive,

Scorching, suggestive.

 

Taste-buds ripened. 

Pungency inflamed, 

Forum thrown,

Minus ceremony,  

Provoking,   

a feverish journey.

 

 

Chillies tonight,

Hell turned heaven,

Intense leavening might,

Rumpling bed sheets, 

I savour, repeatedly,

fiery flavour!
