Stay

Stay

A Poem by Kennedy
"

Love and stuff. :]

"

 When you kiss me

Does your tongue move in a way
To silently speak 'I love you'?
I wouldn't mind if you put words in my mouth.
You've been on my mind for a long time
I can feel our emotions crashing down like a waterfall
And meeting gently at the bottom.
Brush me off my feet and sweep me into your current
In your direction is where I want to flow.
Drift with me to the banks of the water
And the stars will wait for us to lie back and stare.
If one night I could just hold you
And wake up with you still there
I want the stars to be gone.
If one day I took your hand
And put a circle of forever on it
Would you forever make me stay?
I never told you, but it's all I want.
If I ever turn away, grab my shoulder
And make me stay.
