Once Bitten

Once Bitten

A Poem by Kennedy
"

How I want to die... just one bite from a vampire...

"

Backed against the wall
I am afraid
Your cold hands on my skin
I feel my soul fade

Your eyes glow
Your breath on my neck
It’s gonna hurt
My nerves are a wreck

I close my eyes
Try not to scream
When you bite down
I realize this isn’t a dream

Push me against the wall harder
Teeth sinking in so deep
I breathe hard
My eyes weep

I’m so turned on
But I’m dying
On the ground soon
Is where I’ll be lying

Things get blurry
I’m almost dead
“It’s almost over”
Was the last thing you said

The way you kill me
Makes me feel so alive
And when I come back
I know I’ll survive
