Bliss

Bliss

A Poem by Kennedy
"

Love and stuff :]

"

Body and soul
Filled with bliss
An endless night
Started with a kiss

Hands in hair
Eyes closed tight
In the darkness
Turn out the light

Visionless glimpses
Candles all around
Soft breathing heard
Music in the background

Whispers and low voices
Silent to the night
Nothing heard around them
Everything's just right

Oblivious to all
Caught up together
Laying side-by-side
Always and forever

Lips pressed together
Sweat starting to bead
Nothing else matters
That is all they need

"I love you" they say
"Forever" is what they mean
No one understands
The things they've always seen

Only alone together
When no one is around
Love expressed so dear
Just that is found

Whispers and kisses
Thoughts and fears
Secrets and stories
Heard by bare ears

Secrets of love
Can only grow
Memories together
Only they know

Forever together
With eternal bliss
Forever in love
Just like this

Kennedy
I wrote this my freshman year in high school... so that was like 4 or 5 years ago when this got written. I think it got published somewhere... I don't know. It got popular somehow and everyone wanted a copy of it. -shrug-

The way you have it rhyming is great, but you should break it into stanzas so that it is easier for your readers to read. Other than that, I love it.

It is cute and seems heart felt. I think that you did a wonderful job keeping form for the period you wrote it in.
