Dehumanization

Simple poem, written on spur of the moment. Voices my concerns about modern humans, specifically terrorists and dangerous criminals.

No longer are the demons within.
No longer are the bumps of the night monsters of sin.
No longer are comments merely so,
every opinion is threat to your own
No longer can we feel safe in our homes,
For we must live in fear of the bad seeds sewn.
