Wintertime

Wintertime

A Poem by Kamala
"

this is a poem I had to do for my English class... we had to do a poetry packet and I figure this one could work for one of them

"

The white fluffy, glistening piles of snow

Crunch beneath my feet

My siblings and I race down the hill on sleds

And at nighttime we rest our heads

In our warm cozy beds

Hot chocolate by the crackling fire

Warming our very souls

The soft music playing in the background

The piles of presents which can be found

Underneath the tree

Excited voices of kids running everywhere

Laughter can be heard here and there

You will forget all your fear

As Christmas time draws near.
