A Poem by KamalTrivedi

Overexposed and weak,
Too vulnerable to speak,
My unsuspecting heart,
can't handle this defeat.

The time of life within
to catch a breath, a hint.
Sitting in the light, just to see the chance
of overwhelming sight.

I can't find what I came looking for.
But maybe it is the end of war.
I don't know, I'm not sure.
But I do believe I know the door.

If only I could find it...
in this forbidden place.
How did it get here?
Not a hint, not a trace.

Going in circles, looking high and low.
Ok, I see, Now I know.
There it is...
I see the door aside that clock.
Ticking time, ticking time,
No key...to this door... that is locked.
