Thought #1

Thought #1

A Poem by KamalTrivedi

I stored them in a box and put them far away...somewhere that I could no longer find them...maybe not forever...but for a while. They were things from a while ago...there was no use for them at the moment, so what was the point of them just occupying space for no apparent reason? I didn't know the answer. They were things I loved dearly...and I wanted to hold onto them and never lose them. One day...I was so sad...I needed them back to cheer me up. That box held all of my greatest treasures...I knew I could no longer take living without them. So I sat down...and reached deep into the box...and pulled out all of them. One by one, I pulled the fondest ones from my mind and felt reunited with my past...with my motivations and foundations...with my greatest treasures...my memories.
