A Smile a Day

A Smile a Day

A Poem by Kalster09

They say it takes a smile to change your day
but isn't that just a major cliche?
They say to cheer up, it's not so bad.
But everything inside, everything I had
consumes me in a way I can't foretell.
I don't wish to dwell,
but a smile a day
is the cliche
that never seems to fix
all of the conflicts.
