Camouflage

Camouflage

A Poem by KalliRose

Everyone is colored green
growing and growing
you start off clean

as you age
it starts to spread
moss seeps deep inside your head

It masks you
it sprouts so slow
you blend so well
covered green, from head to toe

Suddenly the whole world is green
covered with a tantamount seed
Some cry and scream
Some face insanity
Others succumb to it's despondent leaves
but very few break free

To break the moss
you have to move
see things
from another view

The moss only grows on those who give up
so keep your dreams alive
but the moss, you must not
