idkA Poem by KalliRose
How can I be so selfish?
To see them on the street and walk past To say the problem is too big for me to help To act as though I have nothing to give How can I be so heartless? To hang on to objects so easily replaceable To keep them hostage when they matter so little To me, but matter greatly to another What more could I ask for? Shelter, food, warmth, water I have everything I need from money But I cling to it, though it can bring me little else It's easy, I suppose To look past those who can't return such things It's easy to walk past But hard to forget the feeling
