Salvation

Salvation

A Poem by Kaliou

You cannot refuse the sunset.

Inevitability is the false illusion of control.

In chaos and calamity I find logic,

In agony and loneliness I find comfort.

Why am I here?

Reclaiming sanity only through rejection,

I am a prisoner of your adoration,

I defy your pagan gods,

I defy your -

I defy.

“I am a grain of sand in the eye of the sun”

Abandoned by loneliness,

Empathy was never a choice.

Embodied by solitude,

I personified love.

In the heart of the heart of another body

In the heart of -

In the heart.

"Out of confusion, as the way is,
And the wonder, that man knows,
Out of the chaos would come bliss."

Dylan Thomas

but anyway.. -in the heart- i'm love with this.

*goose bumps* my favorite lines were "you cannot refuse the sunset", "abandoned by loneliness, empathy was never a choice" and the very last bit, of course :)
