Fade

Fade

A Poem by Kaliou

The only witness to my disappearance,
I find myself diluted.
Memory is the only bridge left between Soul and physicality.
Phasing in, Fading out,
Digging, ripping out of my own flesh with filthy broken nails.

My Body is no longer your pagan temple, but a monument of corruption and lust.
I cover up my naked heart with the palm of my hand and my vacant eyes with yours.
The wet shame of my tears trickles down your fingers, and with the tip of my tongue i take back that which i prohibit you to see.

My heartbeat mimics your shaking hands.
