Lightning

Lightning

A Poem by Gabrielle

I am upsetting the wind
With my strokes dancing upon paper
She blows my skirt all over the continent
And through the stormy seas
As she signs her golden name
Across her saffron sky

As the day fades from my eyes
When you run through the rain
Be aware of the lightning bolt
Surging through your fingers
And altogether too hot to touch
But one moment and you are lost
Fragemented in the lit esteem
Sweet little zigzags

mark angelic territory of the host
