Painted PearlsA Poem by Gabriellemore inspired by my dreamShe's an average kind of girl In a world painted in self esteem
The paint is so white and so pure
She gets everything
Everyone knows she's beautiful
Without and within
Holding roses and posing for ladies
On the plank where she's found waiting
We could do this
It was a romance affair
That night she lay in bed in another world
She was a ballet bank robber
In the clouds they stare
Up the endless hotel lights
It was an unusual dream
And it was never just a casual night
But a night laced with sorrow
For things she can't remember
Digital dysphoria
And panic at the disco
She can't remember
She can't think it over
But you were somewhere within
The apple painted walls
Dancing delirium
In the white washed malls
With liqour polished shoes
In a neverending play
Of things she remembers
And the things she cannot say.
