Dawn

A Poem by Samuel
"

A Haiku

"
Dawn arrives and then the sun,

Flowers blossom, bloom and boom,

Insects chirp and merry hens cluck.

this a just lovely, but the syllable count isn't quite right, the lines need to be 5-7-5 syllables.
something like this :

dawn comes,then the sun
flowers blossom , bloom and boon
insects chirp,hens cluck.

Even in modern haiku where you can use less syllables the middle line should have more than the first and third lines.

I love the imagery ..
