The Teaspoon.

Pretty little thing.
Shiny, silver and soft.
Its a two-sided thing,
Love within it,
Is already half gone.

I stare into it,
I see myself staring back.
But as I flip it around,
I come to realize
My spoon is lying to me.

I am not upside down.

I try my best to make it right.
But on that side,
Its only lies.

Turn it back around,
Now my frown
Is upside down.
