I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

A Poem by KalebX_
"

I can't keep my promises.

"
If I could I'd right these wrongs
I'd lose these anchors and set sail
I'd show you a brighter horizon
But I won't let this fade
And I don't need to let you know
I hang off your word
And I'd tend to your sheep
But I can't close my eyes
I petrified to sleep
I can't watch you walk away from me again
I'd rather slit my throat
A crimson splash falls
As I hide beneath the covers
The mask I wore slips beneath my feet
My decisions will haunt me to the grave
If I could take it all back
I'd save you from myself.
I'm sorry I couldn't be the person you needed me to be, you are all that I wanted but you'll never see
You were there when my blood fell on the floor
You stood in my warpath and told me to breathe
Tell me to breathe again.
Tell me it's okay to cry.
Speak for me when I can't.
Help me.
Don't let me destroy myself.
I don't want to do this anymore.
My seams are breaking
The promises I've made
I can't keep them anymore
I'm sorry.
I can't.
