A little birdie spoke to me

A little birdie spoke to me

A Poem by KalebX_
"

I was taken out of my comfort zone, a challenge

"
A little birdie spoke in my ear, earlier today. She spoke of magic wonders that happen every day. I asked and pleaded to show me a better way but all she ever did reply was you'll find it all someday. Puzzled and annoyed I begged to be shown the way, for inside my twisted mind, I've surely lost my way. My path is extremely tangled, a tree with twisted roots. An overgrown garden, far beyond repair. Oh how that little birdie tweets. She found me sitting in my garden, tending to the weeds, for all you have to do, is truly become free. I followed as she flew away, a path I cannot see. I listened for her high pitch words compelling me to be free, we went around my city as small as it might be. I forgot about my garden and ran, the darkness leaving me. We settled in a Forrest, and sat beneath an evergreen. Why have you brought me here, I spoke in a lowered tone. You want to see the magic? But you are sitting under the tree. She laughed back at me for I could not see, the rope hanging high above. This is where you would have ended up if you never followed me but now we are here and you are there. The two must never meet, you have your health and life planned out, don't stray from that path, my god you are right my little bird, i am truly free, I opened my eyes and stared back, that little bird was me.
