art and science would not suffice

I painted, gazing through space

danced to human anatomy

Medicine was my sculpture's theme

motes from A to G, and then to Z

we knew the Greats were on to something

We moved beyond a movement

paraded, with our pills and pins

Confided in our past

gave forgiveness to the future's textbooks

They said to write is wrong
