Which Letter is Missing?

Which Letter is Missing?

A Poem by Different Wings
"

find the one!

"
Here I write.
Trying, with a touch of difficulty,
to utilize the total gross of letters in our vernacular...
that is, save the one.
The one inexplicable set of curves and lines,
one twenty-sixth of an alphabet so generally unconsidered.
Already the options are narrowed to a quartet-
no, a just and noble trio-
but what? The standings stand at fifty-fifty?
It appears I spoke too soon!
