Sweetness Poured Over Mountains

Sweetness Poured Over Mountains

A Poem by Different Wings

Wisps of almonds, boulders scattered about:
brittle
Jewels of nectar, brush lining the ascent:
absorbing
Channels of caramel, lava let free:
evoking
Expanse of frozen cream, topography towering:
succulent
My bowl of sweet dessert, an esteemed mountain:
fulfilling
